A helping hand for strategic, team and people development.
Accessible Development offers support to those who are looking for an outside agent to help them move in a new direction.
A range of support is available to help you to take stock of what you are doing now, what you want to be doing in the future and the steps needed to get there. An array of processes and strategies can be implemented to get the results you want and need to achieve.
Sue Collins, Managing Director of Accessible Development has over 20 years experience of working with central and local government, schools, national organisations and the voluntary sector. In addition to strategic policy development, she was instrumental in setting up the then new Special Educational Needs Tribunal and ensuring that the administration team and multi-professional group of stakeholders received appropraite training and support. Working with multi-professional groups has continued to play a part as her career has progressed.
Since setting up her own business in 2003, Sue has worked as Lead Consultant for the development of the Student Leadership programme for the National College for School Leadership, as a facilitator for the Department for Education and Skills Leadership Incentive Grant programme, as a consultant and Critical Friend for the Quality in Study Support initiative, administered by Canterbury Christ Church University and as a registered assessor for the matrix Quality Standard. In addition, she has contributed to a number of conferences.
The Extended Schools and Children's Centres agendas are the backdrop to a variety of interventions with multi - agency teams to support their development of contexualised strategic vision to meet identified local needs. Training programmes and facilitation with multi-agency teams as they embark on a new way of working together and individual Critical Friend support are enabling people to engage positively in this latest round of Government initiatives.
